Phillippa is a people and community-centred designer, mediator and coach. An expert in creative engagement and facilitation techniques with over 17 years’ experience of community building, meaningful citizen engagement and design projects working with communities in the UK and overseas.
Passionate about the messy intersection between changing places and the people who live in and move through them Phillippa has led a number of successful community design projects working in challenging environments across London & Bradford to develop effective ways to respond to social, transport, health and participation challenges. An expert at engaging people in low income areas to embed transformational change Phillippa is committed to co-creating a sustainable future for all at local, national and international level.
Phillippa has a Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development from Forum for the Future, a degree in English and Drama from the University of Birmingham, is a member of the Placemaking Leadership Council and a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts.
